What do you mean by the term "relationship research"?

Relationships have been the topic of music, art, poetry, religion, and the media for centuries. IARR take a more scientific view of relationships. It supports the generation of knowledge about social and personal relationships through scientific study and empirical investigation. What this means is that our understanding about how relationships work comes from conducting research studies and then collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
