Hi all,

My colleagues and I are putting a call out for research articles to be published in a Special Issue of Frontiers focused on the Science of Pair-Bonding and Future Directions.

We welcome submissions from all areas of research on pair-bonding, from human and non-human animals, as well as all types of methods including (but not limited to) self-reports, experimental, biological measures, and big data techniques; and relationship types from socially and sexually monogamous, to dating and long-term relationships, LGBTQIA+ samples, and consensual non-monogamy. This issue will explore the flexibility of the pair-bonding mating and attachment systems, and highlight the unique role of pair-bonds for the species.
