Dear colleagues,

My collaborators and I are conducting a systematic review and meta-analysis on the relationship between partner support and goal pursuit. You can find the preregistration for the project and relevant documentation here: https://osf.io/p3287/

We have conducted literature searchers using PsychINFO (EBSCOHost) and Web of Science as well as looked through – or are in the process of looking through – relevant journals, conference proceedings, review articles, and PsyArXiv. We are now seeking any unpublished manuscripts/data to include in our sample of studies. Our inclusion criteria are as follows: participants have to be currently in a romantic relationship and be at least 18 years old, the study needs to have a measure of partner support at least from the target’s perspective (we accept several different types of support: e.g., secure base support, social support, responsiveness, and affirmation) and a measure of goal pursuit at least from the target’s perspective that addresses goal pursuit in the absence of adversity. We accept both specific goals (e.g., education, career, well-being) and goals in general.

If you have data that you believe meets our inclusion criteria, please email me at l.vowels@soton.ac.uk.

Feel free to pass this on to any colleagues that you believe might have studies that match our inclusion criteria.

Sincerely,

Laura Vowels
